INTERPRETIVE EXHIBIT DESIGN
Located on the tip of Cape Ann, in Rockport, Massachusetts, Halibut Point State Park occupies a rugged, windswept, granite outcropping that overlooks the sea. Formerly a granite quarry and military installation, the site has been dramatically reclaimed by nature. Entirely filled with water, the quarry resembles a seaside pond. Design Division conducted site analysis for both interpretive opportunities and wayfinding sign locations. The design was required to compliment an existing trail brochure and to withstand the harsh seaside environment.
